Siloh vs Hevy (2026)

Updated

Verdict: Hevy is the better app for logging lifts. It has detailed set logging, progress charts, a social feed of friends' workouts, Apple Watch and Wear OS apps, Android support and a Pro plan that costs a fraction of Siloh Pro. Siloh is the better pick if you want your meals planned around your training, with different fueling on training days and rest days. Many lifters could use both.

We make Siloh, so weigh this accordingly. Here's where each one wins.

The short version

Hevy is a workout tracker. You log sets, reps and weight, mark warmup, drop and failure sets, run automatic rest timers and watch your progress in charts. You can follow other lifters, like and comment on their workouts and copy their routines. Hevy Pro unlocks unlimited routines, unlimited graph history, unlimited custom exercises, advanced measurements and Hevy Trainer, an adaptive strength programming tool.

Siloh is a nutrition and training app that plans your meals and your workouts as one system. With Siloh Pro, it generates a training program (lifting, running, MMA/combat or hybrid) and the meal plan that fuels it, so a heavy training day and a rest day eat differently, and it adapts after a skipped session. The free app covers food logging, recipes, grocery lists, run tracking with GPS, streaks, a weekly report and Clubs.

If what you want is the best place to log your lifts and share them, Hevy wins. If you want the app to also plan what you eat around those lifts, that's the gap Siloh is built for.

Where Hevy wins

  • Lifting logs. Hevy is built for logging the gym: warmup, drop, failure and superset sets, RPE, automatic rest timers, plate and warmup calculators, one-rep max estimates and live PR alerts. Siloh doesn't go that deep on set-by-set logging.
  • Progress charts. Hevy shows volume, best weight, total reps, muscle group charts and monthly reports.
  • Social feed. Follow friends, like and comment on their workouts, copy their routines and see leaderboards. Siloh has no global leaderboards and no public social feed.
  • Price. Hevy Pro is $2.99/month, $23.99/year or $74.99 for life. Siloh Pro is $19.99/month or $149.99/year.
  • Devices and platforms. Hevy runs on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web, with Apple Watch and Wear OS apps. Siloh is iPhone only for now.
  • Track record. Hevy says it's used by more than 17 million athletes. Siloh launched on July 30, 2026, and has few reviews so far.

Where Siloh wins

  • Meals and training in one plan. Siloh Pro builds your training program and your meal plan together. Hevy doesn't list nutrition among its features. Siloh Pro programs also cover running, MMA/combat and hybrid training, for lifters who cross-train.
  • Training-day vs rest-day fueling. Siloh Pro sets your food to match the day's session, so a heavy leg day and a rest day don't get the same plan, and it adapts after a skipped session.
  • Free Clubs. Gyms and run clubs get Clubs free: join requests with an approval queue, member management, pinned notices, post moderation, events with GPS check-in, challenges with challenge leaderboards, and chapters and squads.

Siloh's honest downsides

  • Not as deep a lifting log. If tracking every set, RPE and PR is what you care about most, Hevy is the stronger tool.
  • No public social feed. Siloh's social features live inside Clubs. There are no global or club-wide leaderboards.
  • Costs much more. Siloh Pro is several times the price of Hevy Pro.
  • iPhone only for now. Android is coming soon. No Apple Watch app is listed.
  • Newer app. Launched July 30, 2026, with few reviews so far.

Choose Hevy if…

  • You lift and want the most detailed, fastest log for sets, reps and weight.
  • You want to share workouts with friends and follow other lifters.
  • You want a cheap Pro plan or a lifetime option.
  • You use Android, Wear OS or want to log from your watch.

Choose Siloh if…

  • You want your eating planned around your training, not just your training logged.
  • You want training days and rest days to eat differently without doing the math.
  • You train in more than one way, like lifting plus running, or combat sports.
  • You run a gym, club or team and want free tools to organize it.
